As VP Strategy &amp; Business Development , you will play a key role on our leadership team. You’ll be close to every major decision, working directly with founders, operators, and leadership teams across the platform.
You will help define, structure, and drive strategic initiatives -- new ventures, capital strategy, market entry, and more. This is not a passive role. You’ll be expected to bring structure, speed, and judgment in a high-stakes, fast-moving environment.

<ul><li>
Drive strategic planning, growth initiatives, and capital strategies across ventures
</li><li>
Identify and structure new opportunities and early-stage venture ideas
</li><li>
Lead financial modeling, valuation, budgeting, and risk analysis
</li><li>
Develop and manage strategic partnerships and stakeholder relationships
</li><li>
Serve as a key link between founders, ops teams, and investors
</li><li>
Represent Vergence externally in presentations, negotiations, and due diligence
</li><li>
Actively contribute to the shaping and launch of new ventures
</li></ul>
<h4 class="navds-heading navds-heading--xsmall navds-typo--spacing">Qualifications</h4>
<ul><li>
4+ years’ experience in strategy, VC, M&amp;A, PE or top-tier management consulting (MBB level)
</li><li>
Proven ability to assess, model, and execute complex business initiatives
</li><li>
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
</li><li>
Operational fluency -- you enjoy building, not just analyzing
</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English required; Norwegian a plus)
</li><li>
High ownership and stamina -- this is not a 9-to-5 role
</li><li>
A sharp commercial mind and deep interest in venture building and technology
