Sommarøy Arctic Hotel offers a total of 155 rooms, including 74 suites, superior and standard rooms, as well as 81 rooms located in 23 seaside cabins and fishermen’s cabins (rorbuer). During the summer season, the hotel is bustling with activity--- weddings nearly every weekend and a lively atmosphere in the fishing village. Our goal is to create memorable dining experiences combined with genuine Northern Norwegian hospitality.
Sommarøy Arctic Hotel Tromsø is part of Norwegian Travel, a leading provider of experience-based tourism in Norway. Our mission is to offer exciting and authentic experiences at all our destinations across the country. Our experiences range from dog sledding, snowmobiling, and Northern Lights adventures in Tromsø and Kirkenes, to our gondola in Romsdalen and the Northern Lights train in Narvik.
