Our customers can use automatic deployment of Machine Learning algorithms to edge devices improving operational efficiency. What you will be doingWe&#39;re looking for a Platform Developer with experience in geospatial technologies and time-series databases. You&#39;ll design and implement scalable web applications, working with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of OGC APIs, geospatial indexing, and query optimization is essentialWe think you should be able to<ul><li>Design &amp; develop Platform / Backend applications with RESTful or GraphQL APIs, including OGC-compliant endpoints.</li><li>Integrate, store, and index geospatial data in databases like PostGIS or other spatial databases.</li><li>Implement geospatial queries and optimizations to ensure efficient data retrieval.</li><li>Work with time-series databases (Timescale) for storing and analyzing high-volume real-time data.</li><li>Implement best practices for schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.</li><li>Stay updated with emerging trends in geospatial and time-series data processing.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s or Master&#39;s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Proficiency in C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similar languages</li><li>Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (e.g., Postgres), including indexing and performance tuning.</li></ul> Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Familiarity with data science and visualization tools.</li><li>Hands-on experience with time-series databases (Timescale) for data ingestion and querying.</li><li>Experience with PostGIS, spatial indexing, and geospatial libraries (e.g., GDAL, GeoPandas).</li><li>Background in map rendering libraries (Leaflet, Mapbox, OpenLayers) is a plus.</li><li>Familiarity with OGC standards and APIs</li><li>Experience in processing and analyzing oceanic or environmental data.</li></ul>Innovate for a better world with us.
