INNOWELL SOLUTIONS AS
Innowell Solutions is developing a breakthrough downhole technology called Density Activated Recovery (DAR). This innovative solution offers unique capabilities designed to support more sustainable field developments in a low-carbon future. DAR aims to help oil companies increase recovery volumes, accelerate production, reduce costs, and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
Since 2012, more than 100 million NOK has been committed to the development of this technology, a support that has come from agile Norwegian and international oil companies together with the Research Council of Norway.
In April 2024, Welltec announced its part acquisition and strategic partnership with Innowell Solutions AS. Shortly after, in October 2024, Welltec announced first deployment plans of DAR Technology with Equinor at the Johan Castberg field. At present, Innowell and its partners are working on the first commercial projects scheduled for delivery in 2025.
