<a href="https://www.verisure.no/" rel="nofollow"></a>We are seeking a dynamic and experienced lawyer to join Verisure&#39;s management team in Norway to report directly to the Managing Director and be an important and integral part of the Country Leadership team. In the role, you will lead a team of two people and be part of the Nordic Cluster Legal Team of 18 colleagues. 
As Head of Legal at Verisure you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth while aligning our operations with regulatory requirements and handling risk management. It is a broad leadership role covering the full spectrum of a fast growing, innovative and dynamic B2C product and services company.

The office is conveniently located near Skøyen Station, ensuring easy accessibility. <h2>Responsibilities</h2>Given the central role of the Legal department and the numerous legal areas Verisures business touches, the role is an opportunity to drive business success by providing expert legal guidance and act as a strategic business partner to deliver pragmatic, commercial, and actionable legal solutions.<h5>Comprehensive Legal Advisory</h5><ul><li>Consumer Protection &amp; Go to Market regulations: Provide expertise on Go to Market regulations to advise the business on marketing, advertising and sales materials, initiatives and processes, as well as collaborations in this area with third parties, covering consumer protection and marketing regulation, and service specific regulation.</li><li>Commercial Contracting: Work closely with the business teams on contracts with customers, suppliers, partnerships, franchisees, and sales partners. Provide support and business advice to further develop strong franchisee partnerships.</li><li>Risk management: Lead the ERM process and identify local risks together with lead compliance counsel and HR.</li><li>Legal compliance: With support from team members, ensure full compliance within key legal compliance areas, including competition, consumer protection, data privacy and AI.</li><li>Governmental and Regulatory Affairs: when needed manage relationships with regulatory bodies and contribute to industry regulation evolution. Together with Head of Operations, further our partnering with police and other emergency response agencies to further strengthen our alarm response services. Keep abreast of key regulatory and legal trends to anticipate impacts on the business with regulatory monitoring.</li></ul><h5>Strategic Business Partner</h5><ul><li>Provide pragmatic and commercial legal guidance to shape business strategies and plans through strategic legal advice.
