<p>Ekornes is embarking on a significant transformation journey, with a need to strengthen the commercial and strategic ownership of its product portfolio. As Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will be pivotal in Ekornes’ transformation, leading the commercial and strategic direction of their brand and product portfolio. Your mandate covers full responsibility for category and the product development team, driving category management, product development, and innovation. You will collaborate closely across marketing, commercial, and operations to shape Ekornes’ assortment, advance the innovation agenda, and maximise commercial opportunities with optimal value chain efficiency.</p>
<p>Operating directly or in a matrix across multiple dimensions, the CPO will work closely cross-functionally across the total company value chain steering the agenda towards profitable growth in line with the long-term Ekornes strategy. Change management and strategic leadership is central to this mandate, requiring the CPO to effectively lead the way and engage the organization.</p>

<p>Lead brand strategy for innovation, category and product portfolio management, and activities to drive profitable growth to the full potential</p>

<p>Lead product development department, including product design, value engineering and product construction to enable optimal operationalization.</p>

<p>Build and execute product strategy, supporting growth through portfolio initiatives and product launches.</p>

<p>Optimise product profitability and pricing, leveraging market insights and cost analysis.</p>
</li><li>
<p>Champion sustainability in product content, balancing environmental goals with profitability.</p>
</li><li>
<p>Guide long-term design vision in partnership with marketing, ensuring brand alignment and scalability.</p>
</li><li>
<p>Serve as an active member of the Group Executive Management Team.</p>

<p>You bring broad commercial expertise in category and product management, ideally within international, complex organisations. You are explorative and improvement driven, with proven leadership capabilities in transformational change, and experience driving portfolio and market share growth. Strong communication skills and higher education in engineering, product management, or business are essential.</p>
